The CLA welcomes all to learn or have a refresher on everything you ever needed to know about the different types of practices and documents which record a person’s evidence. The seminar will cover such matters as the use of a statement, affidavit or statutory declaration, what information those documents should include, what are the pitfalls for drafting re matters such as admissibility, legislative compliance and tactical considerations. Being able to draft the right type of statement with the right type of information at the right time, is a skill set for all those who work in the daily perils of proving evidence, and this seminar will be taught by a master of the craft.
 
Paul Telford is a barrister with extensive experience in his leading Commercial, Insurance and Construction law practice. He lends us his additional skills as a highly respected undergraduate and post graduate university teacher, an author and editor of commercial and insurance legal texts.
